Project: Strategic Plan
NUCLI was the first strategic plan designed from the collection of ideas from all professionals. NUCLI2025 goes one step further: it is built and advances thanks to everyone’s participation.
A Strategic Plan is meaningless if it remains in the Management. The Hospital Clínic of Barcelona became aware of this years ago. In 2016, it designed a plan with 43 projects, the result of the analysis of the field work carried out by each institute, based on the ideas of its professionals. Anyone who wanted to could sign up to collaborate in each project. With the new NUCLI2025, we maintain this original idea and complement it with new challenges that respond to the need to have a flexible Plan, with results that can be implemented for immediate, daily improvement for everyone in the organization.

The current Strategic Plan, NUCLI2025, aims to involve professionals throughout the hospital in the promotion and execution of transversal and specific projects that may have an impact on the Hospital’s day-to-day operations.
What are we doing?
We encourage all professionals to propose projects that add to the purpose of the Hospital, that is, to become a Close, Intelligent, Sustainable and Pioneering Clinic. All ideas become projects, or are derived from transversal initiatives. We guide the promoters and provide them with tools, support and resources. In addition, the management of each institute, following the work guidelines proposed by the Strategy department, defines, prioritizes and executes the projects to be addressed under its leadership.
What’s my mission?
As an internal strategy consultant, I constantly design, disseminate and implement the structure and content of the organization’s Strategic Plan:
- First identification and definition of the axes of growth (close, smart, sustainable and pioneering hospital) with a reduced strategic team.
- Design and facilitation of the dynamics and material for the management team so they can appropriate, prioritize and work on their projects following the axes of the strategic plan.
- Design of a tool for the collection of transversal projects defined by the different institutes that make up the Clinic in order to monitor their achievement during the life of the plan.
- Accompaniment of Management and project leaders as a hard&soft facilitator(organization, project management skills, coaching, sessions facilitator, trainer…)
- Member of NUCLI2025 communication designers.
- Configuration of Office 365 for the dissemination of the Strategic Plan (project, organization of events…).
